Isn\u2019t it frustrating when something that should be simple turns out to be surprisingly difficult? Farm animals, animal noises, the things that we learn in nursery school in our mother tongue, become illusive. Are we really at the pre-nursery stage in our studies of the Italian language?<\/span><\/p>\n

Not really. The problem, as I so often say, is context. And that\u2019s one of the reasons why it\u2019s so hard to learn a language from books or in classes. When you begin learning a foreign language you tend to focus on the \u2018nuts and bolts\u2019 that hold it all together, and the essential vocabulary that will help you get by in a limited set of scenarios.<\/span>
\n My guess is that most visitors to Italy spend most of their time in towns, cities, museums, galleries, bars and restaurants, vero? But towns and cities are only a tiny part of what Italy has to offer. With some of the most varied and stunning landscapes in Europe, Italy is also a nature lover\u2019s paradise.<\/span><\/p>\n
