Built on the ruins of a 12<sup>th<\/sup> century basilica, this fantastical work of modern art helps visitors to visualize the true grandeur of the original structure.<\/p>\n<p><iframe una frazione di Manfredonia, in Puglia \u2013 fu costruita una chiesa romanica, la basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore di Siponto. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the 12<sup>th<\/sup> century, a Romanesque church was constructed at Siponto, a hamlet of Manfredonia in Puglia: la basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore di Siponto.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_11522\" style=\"width: 530px\" justify\">Today, only the foundations of the church remain near a more recent medieval church.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Da qualche settimana <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.behance.net\/edoardotresoldi\" target=\"_blank\">Edoardo Tresoldi<\/a><\/span>, artista di 28 anni, ha per\u00f2 terminato a Siponto il progetto \u201cDove l\u2019arte ricostruisce il tempo\u201d. <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A few weeks ago, 28 year old artist Edoardo Tresoldi brought the project <em>\u201cWhere Art Reconstructs Time\u201d<\/em> to a close.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2016\/04\/Siponte-Basilicata-3.jpg\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>Insieme a un gruppo di persone \u2013\u00a0et\u00e0 media 25 anni \u2013 Tresoldi ha ricostruito la struttura della basilica di Siponto utilizzando 4.500 metri di\u00a0rete elettrosaldata zincata: rete metallica, per capirci.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Together with a group of people \u2013 average age 25 \u2013 Tresoldi has reconstructed the structure of the basilica of Siponto using 4,500 metres of electro-welded zinc netting: metal netting, to clarify.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a style=\"text-align: justify\"><b>La basilica di rete metallica \u00e8 alta 14 metri e pesa in tutto circa sette tonnellate. \u00c8 una struttura permanente: per realizzarla ci sono voluti circa cinque mesi e il progetto, commissionato dal ministero del Turismo, \u00e8 costato 900mila euro.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The metal netting basilica is 14 metres high and weighs around seven tons in total.
