#000080\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/i-should-have-studied-italian\/\" target=\"_blank\">I Should Have Studied Italian<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, today we&#8217;re going to look at the verb <strong>potere<\/strong> (to be able) with some practical examples of how it&#8217;s used.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: x-large;color: #3366ff\">Indicativo Presente<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: x-large;color: #3366ff\"> (present indicative):<\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #800080\">io posso, tu puoi, lui pu\u00f2, noi possiamo, voi potete, loro possono<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"zxx\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Examples:<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #800080\">puoi<\/span> passarmi il sale per favore?<\/strong> = can you pass me the salt, please?<br \/>\n<strong>alla Pinacoteca Nazionale di Parma si <span style=\"color: #800080\">pu\u00f2<\/span> ammirare la Scapigliata di Leonardo<\/strong> = at the National Gallery in Parma one can admire Leonardo&#8217;s Scapigliata<br \/>\n<strong>dai, che <span style=\"color: #800080\">possiamo<\/span> farcela!<\/strong> = come on,
