Masculine, feminine, singular, plural, sometimes it’s hard to correctly pair up those adjectives with the nouns that they describe and their respective articles.<\/span><\/p>\n

This<\/span> quiz<\/span>,<\/span> based on summer vocabulary<\/span>, will focus on very short sentences which require exactly that: the coordination between article, noun and adjective.<\/span><\/p>\n

H<\/span><\/span>ow<\/span><\/span> to <\/span><\/span>complete the quiz<\/span><\/span><\/span>:<\/span>
\nBelow <\/span>you’ll find a list of<\/span> 21 Italian nouns, each of which will be used in a short sentence<\/span>. Translate each sentence by adding the definite or indefinite article (<\/span>il<\/b><\/span>, <\/span>i<\/b><\/span>, <\/span>lo<\/b><\/span>, <\/span>gli<\/b><\/span>, <\/span>la<\/b><\/span>, or <\/span>le<\/b><\/span>, and un<\/strong>, uno<\/strong>, or una<\/strong>), picking the correct adjective from the box at the bottom of the page, and then pairing it with the appropriate noun. N.B. The list of adjectives is given in the masculine singular. Make sure to modify its number and gender accordingly.<\/span><\/p>\n
