{"id":12199,"date":"2016-08-01T16:49:17","date_gmt":"2016-08-01T14:49:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/?p=12199"},"modified":"2016-08-01T16:49:17","modified_gmt":"2016-08-01T14:49:17","slug":"irregular-nouns-quiz-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/irregular-nouns-quiz-solutions\/","title":{"rendered":"Irregular Nouns &#8211; Quiz Solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">In last week&#8217;s quiz on <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/irregular-nouns-a-quiz\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>irregular nouns<\/strong><\/span><\/a> w<span lang=\"en-GB\">e asked you to translate each of the sentences in the four groups below by adding the definite or indefinite article (<strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">il<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">, <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">i<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">, <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">lo<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">, <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">gli<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">, <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">la<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">, or <\/span><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">le<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">, and <strong>un<\/strong>, <strong>uno<\/strong>, or <strong>una<\/strong>), picking the correct adjective from the box at the bottom of the page, and then pairing it with the appropriate noun. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">There were certainly a few tricky ones here. For Serena and myself, an interesting outcome of this particular exercise is that it has highlighted the difficulty of knowing where to place the adjective: before or after the noun.
