Serena: “Vorrei fare il salmone al cartoccio, ma c’\u00e8 anche Geoff a pranzo, e lui guai se vede una spina”<\/b>
\nSerena: “I’d like to make baked salmon, but Geoff’s having lunch with us too, and it’s bad news if he sees a fish bone”<\/p>\n

Geoff: “Se sento una spina in bocca mi viene subito da vomitare, \u00e8 pi\u00f9 forte di me”<\/b>
\nGeoff: “If feel a bone in my mouth I immediately feel like vomiting, I can’t help it”<\/p>\n

Beppe: “Ti faccio dei filetti di salmone, cos\u00ec le spine si eliminano pi\u00f9 facilmente”<\/b>
\nBeppe: “I’ll make you some salmon fillets, so it’s easier to eliminate the bones”<\/p>\n

Geoff: “Perch\u00e9 non prendiamo la sogliola? Quella mi piace di sicuro”<\/b>
\nGeoff: “Why don’t we get the sole? I’m sure I like that”<\/p>\n

Serena: “La sogliola costa molto di pi\u00f9. La prendiamo la prossima volta<\/b> quando siamo solo noi due<\/b>“<\/b>
\nSerena: “Sole is much more expensive. We’ll get it next time when it’s just us two”<\/p>\n

Beppe: “Allora ti faccio i filetti di salmone?”<\/b>
\nBeppe: “So shall I prepare you the salmon fillets?”<\/p>\n

Serena: “S\u00ec, grazie”<\/b>
\nSerena: “Yes please”<\/p>\n

Beppe taglia la testa al salmone, poi appoggia il coltellone sul corpo del pesce e chiede: “Quanto? Cos\u00ec va bene?”<\/b>
\nBeppe cuts off the salmon’s head, then positions the big knife on the fish’s body and asks:” How much? Is this OK?”<\/p>\n

Serena: “Appena un pochino di pi\u00f9, siamo in tre … ecco, cos\u00ec va bene”<\/b>
\nSerena: “Just a little bit more, there are three of us … yes, it’s fine like that”<\/p>\n

Beppe taglia deciso, poi comincia a pulirlo con maestria<\/b>: prima lo spella, poi ne fa dei filetti e infine lo spina. Geoff non osa guardare, gli fa ribrezzo.<\/b>
\nBeppe cuts decisively, then skilfully starts to clean it: first he skins it, then makes fillets out of it, and finally removes the bones. Geoff dare not look, the sight makes him shudder.<\/p>\n

Beppe: “Altro?”<\/b>
\nBeppe: “Anything else?”<\/p>\n

Serena: “S\u00ec, vorrei dei gamberetti per un risotto”<\/b>
\nSerena: “Yes, I’d like some shrimps for a risotto”<\/p>\n

Beppe: “Quanti?”<\/b>
\nBeppe: “How many?”<\/p>\n

Serena: “<\/b>Abbastanza<\/b> per tre persone”<\/b>
\nSerena: “Enough for three people”<\/p>\n

Beppe: “Ecco qui. Te li pulisco?”<\/b>
\nBeppe: “Here they are. Shall I clean them?”<\/p>\n

Serena: “S\u00ec grazie”<\/b>
\nSerena: “Yes, please”<\/p>\n

Beppe velocissimo gli stacca la test<\/b>a e<\/b> la coda, li sguscia e poi ci sfila quella righina nera che corre lungo la sommit\u00e0. “Ce la tolgo senn\u00f2 pu\u00f2 capitare che mentre li mangi senti dei pezzetti di conchiglia o di sabbia sotto ai denti” spiega Beppe<\/b>. “A posto cos\u00ec?” chiede<\/b>
\nBeppe quickly starts pulling their heads and tails off, ‘shells’ them, then slips off that thin black line that runs along the top. “I’m removing it because if I don’t you might find that while you are eating them you feel bits of shells or some sand between your teeth” he explains. “Will that be all?” he asks<\/p>\n

Serena: “S\u00ec, a posto cos\u00ec. Quant’\u00e8?”<\/b>
\nSerena: “Yes, that’s all. How much is it?”<\/p>\n

Beppe: “Diciassette euro e trenta”<\/b>
\nBeppe: “Seventeen Euros thirty”<\/p>\n

Serena: “Diciassette e trenta … vediamo se ce li ho spiccioli … ecco qui … precisi!”<\/b>
\nSerena: “Seventeen thirty … let’s see if I have the change … here it is … exactly!”<\/p>\n

Beppe: “Perfetto, grazie e arrivederci!”<\/b>
\nBeppe: “Perfect, thanks and see you soon!”<\/p>\n

Serena e Geoff: “Ciao e grazie!”<\/b>
