In<\/span> today’s exercise, we’re going to focus on the <\/span>aggettivo ‘<\/span><\/strong>b<\/span><\/strong>ello’<\/span><\/strong> (adjective ‘<\/span>beautiful, nice<\/span>‘). As with the <\/span>preposizioni articolate<\/span><\/strong>,<\/span> the Italian<\/span> adjective<\/span> bello<\/span><\/strong> models its ending on the definite articles <\/span>il, lo, la, i, gli,<\/span><\/strong> and <\/span>le<\/span><\/strong> (<\/span>the<\/span><\/em>) when followed by a n<\/u>ou<\/u>n<\/u> (see links to articles about the preposizioni articolate<\/strong> at the end of this blog<\/em>).
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Let’s begin by looking at how <\/span>this<\/span> adjective correspond<\/span>s<\/span> to definite articles. Then you can have a go at an exercise that requires you to fill in the blanks in the Italian text. You’ll find the answers hidden at the end of the blog.<\/span><\/p>\n
