Photo by Geoff.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Remember the golden rule:\u00a0<em>&#8220;in Italian it\u2019s not the person that does the liking, but the thing that pleases the person&#8221;<\/em>, check the indirect personal pronouns and verb conjugations that I&#8217;ve provided in my previous articles &#8230; and fill in the gaps in the Italian sentences below :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">1. Laura and Eugenia discuss their travels<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Laura: Do you like Italy? <strong>_______ l&#8217;Italia?<\/strong><br \/>\nEugenia: Yes, I particularly like Tuscany and Liguria. <strong>S\u00ec, _______ in particolare la Toscana e la Liguria.<\/strong><br \/>\nLaura: What about Lunigiana, do you like it? <strong>E la Lunigiana _______?<\/strong><br \/>\nEugenia: I don&#8217;t know Lunigiana, but I&#8217;d like to go there. <strong>Non conosco la Lunigiana, ma _______ andarci.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Laura: Last May I went La Spezia, but I didn&#8217;t like it much. <strong>Lo scorso maggio sono andata a La Spezia, ma non _______ molto.<\/strong><br \/>\nEugenia: Yes, La Spezia isn&#8217;t very attractive, and lots of people don&#8217;t like it, but I like it. <strong>S\u00ec, La Spezia non \u00e8 bella, e a tante persone _______ ma _______.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">2. Paolo and Fabio discuss food preferences in a trattoria<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Paolo: Do you like mussels? <strong>_______ le cozze?<\/strong><br \/>\nFabio: I&#8217;d like to eat them, but unfortunately I&#8217;m allergic to them. <strong>_______ mangiarle, ma purtroppo ci sono allergico<\/strong><br \/>\nPaolo: What a pity, I really like them! <strong>Che peccato, _______ molto!<\/strong><br \/>\nFabio: What about the stuffed squids? I tried them once and really liked them. <strong>E i calamari ripieni, li ho provati una volta e _______ molto.<\/strong><br \/>\nPaolo: Yes, I&#8217;ve heard that they&#8217;re really good, I&#8217;d like to try them. <strong>S\u00ec, mi hanno detto che sono buonissimi, _______ provarli.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">3.
