Here are the solutions to the <\/span>grammar exercise<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span> which we published earlier this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Serena: “I met Carla and Massimo at the market this morning<\/em><\/span>. They came back from a holiday in Puglia the day before yesterday<\/em><\/span>.”
\nGeoff: “Why don’t we invite them over for dinner next week end<\/em><\/span>? We haven’t seen them for a long time.”
\nSerena: “Okay, I’ll phone them now<\/em><\/span>.” … “Hi Carla, are you free next Saturday<\/em><\/span>? We’d like to have you over for dinner.”
\nCarla: “I’d really like that, I’ll have to ask Massimo first, but at the moment<\/em><\/span> he’s not here. I’ll call you back in a couple of hours<\/em><\/span>, alright?”
\nSerena: “Alright, we’ll talk again soon<\/em><\/span>. Bye!”<\/p>\n

Serena: “Questa mattina\/stamattina<\/span> al mercato ho incontrato Carla e Massimo. Sono tornati l’altro ieri<\/span> da una vacanza in Puglia.”<\/strong>
\nGeoff: “Perch\u00e9 non li invitiamo a cena per il prossimo fine settimana\/il fine settimana prossimo<\/span>? E’ da tanto che non li vediamo.”<\/strong>
\nSerena: “S\u00ec, va bene. Ora<\/span> gli telefono.” … “Ciao Carla, siete liberi sabato prossimo<\/span>? Ci farebbe piacere avervi a cena da noi.”<\/strong>
\nCarla: “Mi piacerebbe molto, prima per\u00f2 devo chiedere a Massimo, ma in questo momento<\/span> non c’\u00e8. Ti richiamo fra un paio d’ore<\/span>, va bene?”<\/strong>
\nSerena: “D’accordo, ci risentiamo prossimamente<\/span>. Ciao!”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Geoff: “Do you remember that time we went to Ravenna?”
\nSerena: “Yes, it must have been about four years ago<\/em><\/span>. I’d like to go back there one day<\/em><\/span>.”
\nGeoff: “Me too, in fact I was thinking that we haven’t been on a trip lately<\/em><\/span>, we could go there next week<\/em><\/span>. We don’t have any urgent commitments right now<\/em><\/span>. What do you think?”
\nSerena: “That’d be great! And then if we’re still free we could go to Mantova next month<\/em><\/span>.”<\/p>\n

Geoff: “Ti ricordi quella volta che siamo andati a Ravenna?”<\/strong>
\nSerena: “S\u00ec, deve essere stato circa quattro anni fa<\/span>. Mi piacerebbe tornarci un giorno<\/span>.”<\/strong>
\nGeoff: “Anche a me, infatti stavo pensando che ultimamente<\/span> non abbiamo fatto nessun viaggio, potremmo andarci la settimana prossima\/la prossima settimana\/quest’altra settimana<\/span>. Ora come ora<\/span> non abbiamo impegni urgenti. Cosa ne pensi?”<\/strong>
\nSerena: “Sarebbe bellissimo! E poi, se siamo ancora liberi, quest’altro mese\/il mese prossimo\/il prossimo mese<\/span> potremmo andare a Mantova.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Geoff: “Have you seen my blue gloves around? I used them last Saturday<\/em><\/span>, but I can’t remember where I put them.”
\nSerena: “Up until<\/em> a couple of days ago <\/em><\/span>they were on the table in the living room, I don’t know if they’re still there, have a look.”
\nGeoff: “These days<\/em><\/span> I seem to loose everything!”
\nSerena: “From now on<\/em><\/span> put them with your hat, then you won’t loose them”
\nThe next day<\/em><\/span> – Geoff: “Serena, have you seen my hat?!? ?”
\nSerena: “?”<\/p>\n

Geoff: “Hai visto i miei guanti blu da qualche parte? Li ho usati sabato scorso<\/span>, ma non mi ricordo dove li ho messi.”<\/strong>
\nSerena: “Fino ad un paio di giorni fa\/fino all’altro giorno<\/span> erano sul tavolo in soggiorno, non so se sono ancora l\u00ec, dacci un’occhiata.”<\/strong>
\nGeoff: “In questi giorni\/in questo periodo<\/span> mi sembra di perdere tutto!”<\/strong>
\nSerena: “D’ora in poi\/d’ora in avanti\/d’ora innanzi<\/span> mettili col tuo cappello, cos\u00ec non li perdi pi\u00f9.”<\/strong>
\nIl giorno seguente\/il giorno dopo<\/span> – Geoff: “Serena, hai visto il mio cappello?!? ?”<\/strong>
