La seconda regione di cui voglio parlarvi \u00e8 la meta di molti turisti, americani e non.\u00a0<\/span>La stupenda Toscana.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second region that I want to speak to you all about is the destination of\u00a0many tourists, American and non. The beautiful Tuscany.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Anni fa forse qualcuno di voi si ricorda un film famoso con Julia Roberts, che era stato girato proprio in Toscana.\u00a0<\/span>Beh, se ci siete stati, non \u00e8 difficile capire perch\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perhaps some of you\u00a0remember that years ago a famous movie with Julia\u00a0Roberts was filmed in\u00a0Tuscany. Well, if you have been there, it’s not difficult to understand why. <\/i><\/p>\n

Ricordo con piacere una serata tra i vigneti a bere un buonissimo Chianti (il vino rosso tipico di questa regione) in compagnia di amici.<\/span><\/p>\n

I remember with fondness an evening\u00a0between the vineyards drinking a delicious Chianti (the typical red wine of this region) in the\u00a0company of friends.<\/i><\/p>\n

Citt\u00e0 come Siena, Lucca (la citt\u00e0 delle 100 chiese in cui ad ottobre si tiene uno dei pi\u00f9 importanti festival sul fumetto, il Lucca Comics) Grosseto, Livorno, Pistoia, Pisa (la torre pendente di Pisa vi dice qualcosa?)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cities like Siena, Lucca (the city of 100 churches in which one of the most important comic book festivals is held in October, the Lucca Comics) Grosetto, Livorno, Pistoia, Pisa (does the leaning tower of Pisa say anything to you?)\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

E poi\u2026come non citare lei\u2026Firenze.<\/span><\/p>\n

And then… how can I not mention her… Florence.<\/em><\/p>\n

La meravigliosa, superlativa, Firenze, culla d\u2019arte, della cultura e di tradizione. Dopo Roma, probabilmente la citt\u00e0 pi\u00f9 affascinante d\u2019Italia, la sua bellezza toglie il respiro.<\/span><\/p>\n

The amazing, superlative, Florence, cradle of art, culture and of tradition. After Rome, probably the most fascinating city in Italy, its beauty takes your breath away.<\/em><\/p>\n

Rispetto all\u2019Emilia noterete che i cittadini toscani sono un po\u2019 pi\u00f9 severi, meno cordiali inizialmente. Ma se vi apprezzeranno e gli starete simpatici, saranno le persone pi\u00f9 disponibili al mondo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Compared to Emilia you will notice that the Tuscan citizens are a little more strict, less friendly initially. But if they\u00a0appreciate you and you like them, they will be the most\u00a0available people in the world.<\/i><\/p>\n

Un mio amico toscano mi ha raccontato anche dell \u201dEroica\u201d, una manifestazione in cui ciclisti di tutto il mondo percorrono con biciclette vintage vestiti in maniera retr\u00f2 per le bellissime strade bianche toscane.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of my Tuscan friends also told me about “Eroica”, am event where cyclists from all over the world travel with vintage bicycles dressed in retro style for the beautiful white Tuscan roads.<\/em><\/p>\n
