IL CARNEVALE IN ITALIA\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Si avvicina un altro momento molto sentito in Italia: il periodo del Carnevale, in cui molte citt\u00e0 si colorano di sfilate, maschere e bambini in festa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another very popular moment is approaching in Italy: the period of Carnival, in which many cities are embellished with parades, masks and children celebrating.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

La tradizione culturale italiana vuole che ogni regione e molte citt\u00e0 abbiano la propria \u201cmaschera\u201d tipica carnevalesca: le pi\u00f9 famose sono Arlecchino (citt\u00e0 di Bergamo), Pulcinella (regione Campania), Rugantino nella regione Lazio, Dottor Balanzone nella citt\u00e0 di Bologna.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Italian cultural tradition means that every region and many cities have their own typical\u00a0carnival\u00a0“masks”: the most\u00a0famous\u00a0are Arlecchino (city of Bergamo), Pulcinella (Campania region), Rugantino in the region of Lazio, Dottor Balanzone in the city of Bologna.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Insomma a Febbraio un momento di festa enorme, soprattutto per i bambini, in cui in tutte le citt\u00e0 si assiste a una moltitudine di stelle filanti e coriandoli durante la tradizionale sfilata dei carri, che culmina nella festa di \u201cMarted\u00ec Grasso\u201d che quest\u2019anno cadr\u00e0 (dal verbo cadere <\/span>to fall<\/span><\/i>, \u00e8 un modo di dire quando si parla di data) il 25 febbraio.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In short, in February a moment of huge celebration, especially for children, in which in all the cities there is a multitude of streamers and confetti during the traditional parade of floats, that culminates in the celebration of “Fat Tuesday” which this year will fall (from the verb ‘cadere’ to fall, which is used also when it comes to dates) on February 25th.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Marted\u00ec grasso \u00e8 una tradizionale festa cristiana (non scordate che siamo in Italia!!!) che coincide con l’ultimo marted\u00ec prima della Quaresima, ed \u00e8 il momento clou di questo periodo.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Fat Tuesday” is a traditional Christian celebration (don’t forget that we are in Italy!) that coincides with the last Tuesday before Lent, and is the highlight of this period.<\/em><\/p>\n

Se siete capitati in Italia in quel periodo vi sar\u00e0 certamente capitato di mangiare i dolci tipici carnevaleschi: le \u201cchiacchiere\u201d o \u201cfrappe\u201d, un dolce fritto preparato con farina, zucchero, uova, burro e zucchero a velo, davvero molto semplice, ma veramente eccezionale.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you happened to be in Italy during this period, you will have certainly have had the chance to eat typical carnival sweets: “chiacchiere” or “frappe”, a fried dessert made with flour, sugar, eggs, butter and powdered sugar, very simple, but really excellent.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Il Carnevale come detto \u00e8 quindi un momento del tutto particolare: una grande festa non solo per i bambini, ma anche per i pi\u00f9 grandi e un\u2019occasione per i turisti di vivere al meglio una tra le pi\u00f9 divertenti e folkloristiche manifestazioni tricolori.<\/span><\/p>\n

Carnival as was said earlier is therefore a very particular moment: a big celebration not only for children, but also for adults and an occasion for tourists to enjoy one of the most fun and\u00a0folkloric\u00a0tricolor events.<\/i><\/p>\n

Come non pensare in questo caso a due feste di Carnevale molto famose, non solo nel Belpaese, ma direi in tutto il mondo, come Viareggio e Venezia?<\/span><\/p>\n

In this case how can you not think about the two most popular Carnival celebrations, not only in the ‘Belpaese,’ but I would say in the whole world, such as Viareggio and Venice?<\/em><\/p>\n
