B: Seconda domanda: quando finir\u00e0 tutto questo, quali citt\u00e0 consiglieresti ad un turista americano che si appresta a visitare l\u2019Italia per la prima volta? Ipotizziamo in una settimana di tempo.<\/span><\/p>\n

B: Second question: when all this ends, which cities would you recommend to an American tourist who is going to visit Italy for the first time? Let’s assume for a week.<\/em><\/p>\n

G: Solo una settimana? E\u2019 impossibile in una settimana vedere tutto! Per\u00f2 ok, mi piace come sfida! Allora direi che ci sono tre citt\u00e0 che assolutamente bisogna visitare: Roma, Firenze, Venezia. In assoluto queste tre sono famose in tutte il mondo, e almeno una volta nella vita bisogna vederle. Per\u00f2 non ti nego che ad esempio io non apprezzi molto Venezia. Il mio consiglio comunque \u00e8 di starci magari una giornata.<\/span><\/p>\n

G: Just a week? It is impossible to see everything in a week! But ok, I like this challenge! So, I would say that there are three cities that you absolutely must visit: Rome, Florence, Venice. Absolutely these three are famous in the whole world, and must be seen at least once in a lifetime. But I don’t deny that for example I’m not really fond of Venice. My advice, however, is to maybe go for a day.<\/em><\/p>\n

Le citt\u00e0 che adoro sono Bologna (sono di parte perch\u00e9 \u00e8 la mia citt\u00e0), Napoli, Palermo, Torino e Milano, Genova. Anche se come si dice da noi: \u201csi casca comunque in piedi\u201d, nel senso che l\u2019Italia per fortuna \u00e8 piena di citt\u00e0 incantevoli, e ci sono molte altre che meritano una visita!<\/span><\/p>\n

The cities that I love are Bologna (I am biased because it is my city), Naples, Palermo, Turin and Milan, Genoa. Although as we say: “you still fall on your feet”, in the sense that Italy is fortunately full of enchanting cities, and there are many others worth a visit!<\/em><\/p>\n

B: Concordo sulle tue osservazioni. Aggiungerei solo Ferrara, a cui sono particolarmente legata. Terza ed un ultima domanda: ci dici tre film italiani che fanno parte della cultura italiana e che assolutamente non possiamo perderci, soprattutto ora che abbiamo molto tempo libero?<\/span><\/p>\n

B: I agree with your comments. I would only add Ferrara, to which I am particularly attached. Third and one last question: can you tell us three Italian films that are part of Italian culture that we absolutely cannot miss, especially now that we have a lot of free time?<\/em><\/p>\n
