If you have ever been to Italy, in line at some post office, or municipal (which means the Municipality)\u00a0it has certainly happened to you to have some citizen in front of you, often elderly, complaining about the line, and more\u00a0in general of the “Italian bureaucracy”.<\/p>\n

Ma cosa \u00e8 esattamente questa parola, spesso abusata, di cui si sente tanto parlare in giro?<\/em>\u00a0E\u2019 semplicemente l\u2019incubo di qualunque lavoratore, cittadino, giovane o anziano che sia, che si appresta ad<\/em>\u00a0iniziare una qualche attivit\u00e0 lavorativa o no, in Italia.<\/em><\/p>\n But what exactly is this word, often overused, that we hear so much about?\u00a0It is simply the nightmare of any worker, citizen, young or old who is preparing to\u00a0start some work or not, in Italy.<\/p>\n E quindi vi capiter\u00e0, dopo 30 minuti di fila in posta, di dover compilare fogli e fogli di documenti a causa di<\/em>\u00a0questa burocrazia.<\/em><\/p>\n And then it will happen, after 30 minutes in line at the post office, that you have to fill out sheets and sheets of documents because of\u00a0this bureaucracy.<\/p>\n Questa documentazione (in italiano si chiamano anche \u201cscartoffie\u201d), spesso inutile, non fa altro che<\/em>\u00a0rallentare, e di molto, le tempistiche per portare avanti una cosa.<\/em><\/p>\n This documentation (in Italian it’s also called “paperwork”), often useless, does nothing but\u00a0slow down, and by a lot, the timing to carry out something.<\/p>\n Ad esempio se mai deciderete di voler aprire un negozio, una gelateria o una qualunque altra attivit\u00e0, vi<\/em>\u00a0troverete di fronte all\u2019incubo di ogni italiano: la maledetta burocrazia.<\/em><\/p>\n For example, if you ever decide you want to open a shop, an ice cream parlor or any other business, you will\u00a0you will be faced with the nightmare of every Italian: the cursed bureaucracy.<\/p>\n E quindi passeranno, inspiegabilmente e senza un vero motivo se non quello della burocrazia, settimane e<\/em>\u00a0poi mesi per poter aver quel famoso documento che tanto stavate aspettando.<\/em><\/p>\n And then, inexplicably and without a real reason other than that of the bureaucracy, weeks will pass and\u00a0then months for that famous document you have been waiting so long for.<\/p>\n Non sforzatevi di capirti, semplicemente<\/em>\u00a0accettateli!<\/em><\/p>\n Don’t try to understand it,\u00a0simply accept it!<\/p>\n A voi \u00e8 mai capitato di avere a che fare con la burocrazia italiana?
