Ciao a tutti!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Here we are, at the end of March 2021. For many of us, this month marks a full year since the pandemic began to close borders, shut down schools, and force businesses closed. I would like to imagine the renewal of spring this year in a multitude of ways – in piena fioritura<\/em> (in full bloom) with hope as vaccine distribution widens.<\/p>\n

\ndi marzo, che picchia argentina<\/em>
\nsui tegoli vecchi<\/em>
\ndel tetto, sui bruscoli secchi<\/em>
\ndell\u2019orto, sul fico e sul moro<\/em>
\nornati di g\u00e8mmule d\u2019oro?<\/em>
\nPassata \u00e8 l\u2019uggiosa invernata,<\/em>
\npassata, passata!<\/em>
\nDi fuor dalla nuvola nera,<\/em>
\ndi fuor dalla nuvola bigia<\/em>
\nche in cielo si pigia,<\/em>
\ndomani uscir\u00e0 Primavera<\/em>
\nguernita di gemme e di gale,<\/em>
\ndi lucido sole,<\/em>
\ndi fresche viole,<\/em>
\ndi primule rosse, di battiti d\u2019ale,<\/em>
\ndi nidi,<\/em>
\ndi gridi,<\/em>
\ndi rondini, ed anche<\/em>
\ndi stelle di mandorlo, bianche\u2026<\/em>

\nof the roof, on the dry motes
\nof the garden, on the fig and on the mulberry

\nThe gloomy winter is past,
\npassed, passed!
\nOutside the black cloud,
\nbeyond the gray cloud
\nthat is crushed in heaven,
\nSpring will be released tomorrow
\nguernita of gems and frills,
\nof shiny sun,
\nof fresh violets,
\nof red primroses, of beating wings,
\nof nests,
\nof screams,
\nof swallows, and also
\nof almond tree stars, white …
\nWhat says the misty rain
\nof March, that strikes silvery
\non the old tiles
