Interesting art exhibitions are a bit like buses, nothing comes along for ages and then a whole load all appear at the same time. For me it\u2019s going to be a difficult choice because I\u2019d love to go to at least five of these <strong>mostre<\/strong> (exhibitions)! Chagall created a unique career in virtually every artistic medium, including paintings, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramics, tapestries and fine art prints. The exhibition, which presents a broad range of Chagall&#8217;s work, runs until the 17th of January 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/chagall_circus.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: large;font-family: Pristina\">Telemaco Signorini e la pittura in Europa<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/signorini-4.jpg\" aria-label=\"Signorini 4\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-222\"  alt=\"\" width=\"410\" height=\"600\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/signorini-4.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/signorini-4.jpg 410w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/signorini-4-239x350.jpg 239w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 410px) 100vw, 410px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\">Definitely one of my favorite 19th century Italian artists, Signorini (August 18, 1835 \u2013 February 1, 1901), belonged to the group of artists known as the Macchiaioli, who were influenced by the French Impressionists. Boldini, who\u00a0was responsible for probably the most famous portrait of the composer Giuseppe Verdi,\u00a0was known as the &#8220;Master of Swish&#8221; because of his flowing style. You can see an exhibition of his masterpieces at the Palazzo dei Diamanti, Ferrara, until the 10th of January 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/chagall_circus.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/signorini-4.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/sharbat_gula.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/boldini.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a rel=\"WLPP\" href=\"\/Documents%20and%20Settings\/Geoff%20Chamberlain\/Local%20Settings\/Temp\/WindowsLiveWriter-287785616\/supfiles5A6135\/Boldini4.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: large;font-family: Pristina\">Capolavori della Modernit\u00e0<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\">Works by many\u00a0great 19th and 20th century artists,\u00a0including Monet, Sisley, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Picasso, and Giacometti will be on show at the Mart, Rovereto until the 10th of January 2010. These works are on loan from the Kunstmuseum Winterthur in Switzerland which is partially closed for restoration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: large;font-family: Pristina\">Caravaggio-Bacon<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\">I love the works of Caravaggio, but Francis Bacon&#8217;s paintings always make me think of a <strong>macelleria<\/strong> (butchers shop)! However this exhibition, which you can find at the Galleria Borghese in Roma until the 24th of January 2010, juxtaposes works by these two artists. Hmmm, interesting!<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: large;font-family: Pristina\">Steve McCurry<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/sharbat_gula.jpg\" aria-label=\"Sharbat Gula\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-223\" style=\"border: black 1px solid\"  alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"426\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/sharbat_gula.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/sharbat_gula.jpg 480w, https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2009\/11\/sharbat_gula-350x311.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\">Millions of people the word over will be familiar with at least one <\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\">of the works by this great American photojournalist <\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\">(born February 24, 1950)<\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-small;font-family: Verdana\">, even if they don\u2019t recognize his name. He is perhaps best known for his striking image of Sharbat Gula, a 13 year old Afghan girl photographed by McCurry in a Pakistani refugee camp in 1984.
