{"id":3153,"date":"2013-04-05T08:32:37","date_gmt":"2013-04-05T08:32:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/?p=3153"},"modified":"2013-04-05T09:44:55","modified_gmt":"2013-04-05T09:44:55","slug":"genova-via-del-campo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/genova-via-del-campo\/","title":{"rendered":"Genova &#8211; Via del Campo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\">Following our recent trip to<strong><font color=\"#0000ff\"> <\/font><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/genova-city-of-surprises\/\"><strong><font color=\"#0000ff\">Genova<\/font><\/strong><\/a>, which we described in our last blog, I felt inspired to listen to some music by Genova\u2019s most famous singer songwriter, <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/mulattiera-di-mare\/\"><strong><font color=\"#0000ff\">Fabrizio De Andr\u00e8<\/font><\/strong><\/a>. The name of the song <strong>Via del Campo<\/strong> is taken from an old cobbled street in the Genova\u2019s historical centre, not far from <strong>il Porto Vecchio<\/strong>. At the time when De Andr\u00e8 wrote the song (1967) Via del Campo was frequented by smugglers and prostitutes, and De Andr\u00e8 used to go there to visit <a href=\"http:\/\/genova.mentelocale.it\/33547-via-del-campo-29-rosso-il-negozio-museo-di-de-andre-torna-a-nuova-vita\/\" target=\"_blank\"><font color=\"#0000ff\"><strong>Gianni Tassio\u2019s music shop<\/strong><\/font><\/a> which, after De Andr\u00e8\u2019s death in 1999, became a museum dedicated to the singer.
