I must admit that I have, but I\u2019m not very clever with photo editing software. However, many people who spend a lot of their time under the spotlight go to great lengths to have the \u2018perfect\u2019 silhouette, wonderful skin, or simply to appear one (or two) sizes smaller than they actually are. I\u2019m not against the idea, but I\u2019m well past that delicate age when appearance and image are so important to one\u2019s self-esteem. And anyway, Geoff says he likes me just as I am! It\u2019s an interview with <strong>Elisa D\u2019Ospina<\/strong>, a \u2018curvy\u2019 fashion model for \u2018comfortable sizes\u2019 who has taken up an important mission in her life. Elisa&#160; goes into schools to talk with adolescents about the importance of diversity in appearance and of feeling good about your body. Poi dopo i primi incontri con le studentesse, che alla fine mi abbracciavano piangendo, ho pensato che non potevo pi\u00f9 smettere \u2026 Se penso che<strong> <font color=\"#9b00d3\">i disturbi alimentari<\/font><\/strong> sono il secondo motivo di decesso tra gli adolescenti dopo gli incidenti stradali, non posso e non voglio fermarmi\u00bb<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font color=\"#000040\" size=\"4\" face=\"Segoe Print\">Come hai impostato l\u2019approccio con i ragazzi?      <br \/>\u00abTendenzialmente gli incontri durano dalle due alle quattro ore, <strong><font color=\"#9b00d3\">prima faccio un discorso io<\/font><\/strong> di circa due ore con video e slide; poi ho sempre con me un medico nutrizionista o uno psicologo e dopo ancora non faccio mai mancare una buona ora per il dibattito\u00bb<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font color=\"#000040\" size=\"4\" face=\"Segoe Print\">E i ragazzi cosa ti chiedono? Ci fai un esempio di alcune domande?      <br \/>\u00abPrima di tutto mi chiedono come si fa a riconoscere l\u2019inizio dell\u2019anoressia e del disturbo alimentare. La domanda spesso inizia con il famoso \u201cuna mia amica\u2026\u201d&#160; e poi mi aspettano a fine lezione per parlare di loro stesse. Subito dopo mi chiedono come ho fatto a dire di no ogni volta che mi hanno chiesto di perdere peso, ad esempio per un lavoro. E ancora mi chiedono <strong><font color=\"#9b00d3\">come ne possono parlare<\/font><\/strong> a casa. Per questo il web ha cos\u00ec tanto successo: siti e social network sono un luogo dove i ragazzi riescono a parlare ed esprimersi, cosa che invece non riescono a fare con i genitori\u00bb<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font color=\"#000040\" size=\"4\" face=\"Segoe Print\">Tra loro ci sono anche dei ragazzi?      <br \/>\u00ab<strong><font color=\"#9b00d3\">I maschi mi danno manforte!<\/font><\/strong> Dicono che <font color=\"#9b00d3\"><strong>sono i primi ad<\/strong> <strong>amare la carne<\/strong><\/font> e che delle volte <strong><font color=\"#9b00d3\">a loro dispiace<\/font><\/strong> quando le fidanzate o le madri si fanno problemi che loro non vedono.
