Well today, not only am I going to share her culinary secrets but I\u2019m also going to really fry your brains by writing in Italian \u2026 <u>without an English translation<\/u>. Panna variegata!<\/font><\/em><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p align=\"justify\">Mia mamma infatti era un\u2019ottima cuoca, ma prima di sposarsi era stata infermiera, e cos\u00ec la preparazione delle interiora (dette anche frattaglie) si trasformava molto spesso in una vera e propria lezione di anatomia. Prendeva il cuore, lo sezionava, e ci faceva vedere l\u2019atrio destro, l\u2019atrio sinistro, il ventricolo superiore, quello inferiore, l\u2019aorta e cos\u00ec via. Sapevamo riconoscere l\u2019esofago dalla trachea: l\u2019esofago \u00e8 morbido ed elastico, mentre la trachea \u00e8 rigida e formata da tanti anelli di cartilagine.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/cervelli.jpg\" aria-label=\"Cervelli Thumb\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom: 0px;border-left: 0px;padding-left: 0px;padding-right: 0px;border-top: 0px;border-right: 0px;padding-top: 0px\" title=\"cervelli\" border=\"0\" alt=\"cervelli\"  width=\"537\" height=\"785\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/italian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/cervelli_thumb.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Per\u00f2 quando quella stessa roba arrivava poi cucinata sul nostro piatto non ci sembrava cos\u00ec attraente come ci era sembrata quando era sul marmo della cucina. Quando \u00e8 ben caldo versateci l\u2019impasto con l\u2019aiuto di un cucchiaio, e fate cuocere girando le frittelle da entrambi i lati finch\u00e9 non hanno un bel colore dorato. Durante la cottura bisogna fare attenzione perch\u00e9 si forma parecchia schiuma.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Mettetele su carta da cucina per far assorbire l\u2019olio in eccesso, e servitele calde. (Con tanta tomato ketchup!)<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><em>Note from Geoff: <strong>ma che schifo, mi ha fatto venire la nausea leggere questo!<\/strong> (how disgusting, I feel sick having read this!)<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font color=\"#646b86\">So, how are your brains now?
