Ladies and Gentlemen, I’d like to present Mim\u00ec La Gatta <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Grazie, grazie a tutti, sono molto onorata di essere il primo ‘guest blogger’ di Serena. Ecco, miao, mi piacerebbe iniziare la mia serie di blog descrivendo una giornata tipica della mia vita.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Thank you, thank you everyone, I’m very honored to be Serena’s first guest blogger. O.K., miaow, I’d like to begin my series of blogs with a description of a typical day in my life.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Io mi sveglio prestissimo, non vi so dire a che ora perch\u00e9 l’orario degli esseri umani non significa niente per me. Il mio orario ruota intorno al mio stomaco; pu\u00f2 darsi che sia lo stesso anche per gli umani, per\u00f2 loro fanno tante cose che non sembrano avere niente a che fare col cibo.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
I wake up very early, I can’t tell you at what time because human time doesn’t mean anything to me. My timescale revolves around my stomach; perhaps it’s also the same for humans, however they do lots of things that don’t seem to have anything to do with food.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Cosa faccio io? Mangio, dormo, gioco, faccio i miei bisognini e mi pulisco. Loro, invece, fanno un mucchio di cose che non capisco per niente.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
What do I do? I eat, I sleep, I play, I do my business, and I clean myself. They on the other hand, do loads of things that I don’t understand at all.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Per esempio, dopo aver fatto colazione vanno in bagno e prendono in mano uno strano attrezzo che a me sembra un bastoncino con un piccolo riccio attaccato ad una estremit\u00e0.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
For example, after having eaten breakfast they go to the bathroom and pick up a strange tool which seems like a stick with a tiny hedgehog attached to the end.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Quel povero riccio viene spalmato con un po’ di crema, poi lo mettono in bocca e si strusciano i denti finch\u00e9 non creano una schiuma bianca, che poi sputano nel lavandino.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
That poor hedgehog gets spread with a bit of cream, then they put it in their mouth and rub their teeth till they have made a white foam, which they then spit into the sink.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Ma che schifo! Vogliono rovinare il sapore del cibo o cosa? Io gli consiglierei di tornare semplicimente <\/strong>a letto come faccio io, e di assaporare gli avanzi di mangiare rimasti attaccati ai denti.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Huh, how disgusting! Do they want to ruin the flavor of their food, or what? I’d advise them to simply go back to bed like I do, and to savor the left over bits of food stuck to their teeth.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
E poi non usano neanche la lettiera! Ecco invece cosa fanno: uno di loro si siede su una grande ciotola che chiamano ‘il vasone’ per pi\u00f9 o meno per una mezzoretta di tempo umano. L’altro, dopo un po’,  si mette a bussare alla porta del bagno chiedendo in tono urgente: "Ma quanto ci metti? mi scappa da morire!"<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
And then they don’t even use the litter tray! Here’s what they do instead: one of them sits on a big bowl that they call ‘the toilet’. After a while, the other one begins knocking on the bathroom door and asking in an agitated way: "So how long are you going to be? I’m dying to go to the toilet!" <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Uffa, siamo arrivati soltanto a subito dopo la colazione e mi sento gi\u00e0 rimbambita! Poi mi fanno male le zampe perch\u00e9 non sono abituata a lavorare con una tastiera umana.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Phew, we’ve only got up to just after breakfast and I already feel brain dead! Also, my paws are hurting because I’m not used to working on a human keyboard. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Scusatemi un attimino, ho bisogno di farmi una bella dormitina e siccome gli umani fanno la solita bisticciata (la  chiamano<\/strong> 
‘discussione’) su quanto tempo \u00e8 normale spendere in bagno la mattina, io vado su di sopra di nascosto a trovare il mio posto preferito sul loro letto.<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Excuse me for a while, I need to have a nice little sleep, and as the humans are having their usual argument (they call it a ‘discussion) about about how much time it’s normal to spend in the bathroom in the morning, I’m going to sneak upstairs to find my favorite place on their bed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
S\u00ec s\u00ec, lo so che non lo devo fare, me l’hanno detto migliaia di volte, ma poi se faccio due fusa e li fisso innocentemente coi miei begli occhi irresistibili, loro non fanno niente perch\u00e9 lo so che mi vogliono un casino di bene!<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Yes yes, I know I shouldn’t do it, they’ve told me a thousand times, but then if a do a couple of purrs and stare at them innocently with my beautiful irresistible eyes, they don’t do anything because I know that they really love me loads!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
