Here in Italy, we don\u2019t <u><em>pay<\/em><\/u> attention, we <em><u>lend<\/u><\/em> attention (<strong>prestiamo attenzione<\/strong>). This leads me onto the interesting topic of lending and borrowing. Interesting, because in Italian we use one verb for both actions: <strong>prestare<\/strong>.
