However, even if we do need to <strong>alzarci presto<\/strong> (get up early) we rarely have to use <strong>la sveglia<\/strong> (the alarm clock) because every morning a series of reliable events take place that make sure we don&#8217;t stay in bed too long.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>1. All&#8217;alba gli uccelli cominciano a cinguettare &#8211;<\/strong> The birds begin twittering at dawn<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>2. Poco dopo tocca al gallo\u00a0 cantare &#8211;<\/strong> A short while later it&#8217;s the cockerel&#8217;s turn to sing<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>3. Verso le sette i gatti vengono su a svegliarci, vogliono fare colazione &#8211;<\/strong> At around seven the cats come up to wake us, they want their breakfast<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>4. Pi\u00f9 o meno contemporaneamente sentiamo i rintocchi delle campane della chiesa dall&#8217;altra parte della valle. I&#8217;m hungry and I want to go out!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>7. Altre cose devono ancora accadere prima delle nove. Arrivano i muratori col loro vecchio trattore scassato che tossisce lungo tutto il tragitto &#8211; <\/strong>There are still other things to come before nine o&#8217;clock. The builders arrive with their clapped out old tractor that coughs its way along the road<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>8. Poi c&#8217;\u00e8 la ronzante Ape di Giorgione. Sappiamo che dentro la cabina microscopica ci saranno Giorgione, che \u00e8 enorme, e la sua piccola cagnetta sdraiata sul cruscotto &#8211;<\/strong> Then there is Giorgione&#8217;s buzzing Ape (Big Giorgio&#8217;s little three wheeler truck).
