Vivaldi took inspiration for his Four Seasons from four Sonnets, apparently written by himself. Each of the four sonnets is expressed in by a corresponding movement of the concerto: <strong>La Primavera<\/strong>,<strong> L\u2019Estate<\/strong>,<strong> L\u2019Autunno<\/strong>, and <strong>L\u2019inverno<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Here\u2019s the sonnet for <strong>Inverno<\/strong> in the original Italian followed by an anonymous translation. Here are a few examples that are definitely worth listening to:<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">1. An extraordinary version of Vivaldi\u2019s Winter played on Accordion:&#160; <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/GGVx6rhDZ5c\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><font color=\"#0000ff\" size=\"3\">Winter played by Viktor Barinov<\/font><\/strong><\/a><font color=\"#0000ff\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">2. Vivaldi for electric guitar by the Spanish neo-classical band Dark Moor: <a title=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/txwlKqt01TQ?list=PL91A1C1F36227D6F1\" href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/txwlKqt01TQ?list=PL91A1C1F36227D6F1\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><font color=\"#0000ff\" size=\"3\">Winter played by Dark Moor<\/font><\/strong><\/a><font color=\"#0000ff\"><\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">3.
