Ciao a tutti, sono Mim\u00ec la Gatta. Fino poco tempo fa ho condiviso la casa di Serena e Geoff con mio figlio Coc\u00f2, ma adesso, da qualche settimana, c\u2019\u00e8 tutto uno sconvolgimento. La casa \u00e8 stata messa sottosopra da una marea di gattini, e non sono neanche miei! <\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello everyone, I\u2019m Mim\u00ec The Cat. Up until recently I shared Serena and Geoff\u2019s house with my son Coc\u00f2, but now, for the last few weeks, everything has gone crazy. The house has been turned upside down by a tide of kittens, and they\u2019re not even mine!<\/p>\n

Vabb\u00e8, quando dico marea voglio dire tre, ma per quanto mi riguarda tre sono gi\u00e0 troppi. Ero cos\u00ec contenta con le cose come stavano prima, quando eravamo in quattro, due gatti pi\u00f9 due umani. Il guaio \u00e8 che i giovani di oggi non hanno alcun rispetto per noi adulti: mi hanno fregato la sedia, vogliono mangiare dalla mia ciotola, si arrampicano sulle ginocchia di Geoff e fanno tante di quelle fusa. Insomma, si comportano proprio come se fosse casa loro. Ma basta, ragazzi, non se ne pu\u00f2 pi\u00f9!<\/strong><\/p>\n

OK, when I say \u2018tide\u2019 I mean three, but as far as I\u2019m concerned three is already too many. I was quite content with how things used to be when there were four of us, two cats and two humans. The problem is that the youth of today doesn\u2019t have any respect for us adults: they\u2019ve stolen my chair, they want to eat from my bowl, they climb up on Geoff\u2019s knees and purr like mad. To sum things up, they carry on as if this was their house. Hey that\u2019s enough kids, I can\u2019t put up with it any more!<\/p>\n

OK, mi sono sfogata e adesso mi sento un po\u2019 meglio. D\u2019accordo, l\u2019ammetto, sono gelosa. E lo so che siccome sono stata abbandonata anch\u2019io, dovrei provare pi\u00f9 comprensione per loro. Coc\u00f2, mio figlio, se ne frega. \u00c8 un gatto tranquillo, lui, e ha fatto subito amicizia coi micini: ci gioca insieme, anche se \u00e8 dieci volte pi\u00f9 grosso di loro. Condivide addirittura i suoi croccantini con loro! Ma lui \u00e8 sempre stato pi\u00f9 sicuro di s\u00e9, e poi il fatto che \u00e8 vissuto qua fin da cucciolo aiuta tanto. <\/strong><\/p>\n

OK, I\u2019ve got it off my chest, and now I feel a bit better. Right, I admit it, I\u2019m jealous. And I know that, as I was also abandoned, I should feel more empathy for them. My son Coc\u00f2 isn\u2019t bothered. He\u2019s a calm cat, and he made friends with the kittens straight away: he plays with them, although he is ten times their size. He even shares his biscuits with them! But he\u2019s always been more sure of himself, and then the fact that he has lived here since he was a little kitten helps a lot.<\/p>\n

Io ero gi\u00e0 adulta quando siamo stati salvati da Serena e Geoff ed ho dei brutti ricordi delle cose che ho trascorso prima. L\u2019esperienza passata mi ha lasciata un po\u2019 insicura di me, ed ho bisogno di molta rassicurazione, carezze, e coccole.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was already an adult when we were saved by Serena and Geoff and I have horrible memories of what I went through before. My past experience has left me a bit insecure, and I need a lot of reassurance, strokes, and cuddles.<\/p>\n

Va bene, va bene, vi prometto che nel mio prossimo blog scriver\u00f2 delle cose pi\u00f9 positive sui gattini. A presto.<\/strong><\/p>\n

OK, OK, I promise you that in my next blog I\u2019ll write more positive things about the kittens. Until soon.<\/p>\n
