E\u2019 silenziosissimo, il Duo Diabolico, non ti accorgi assolutamente della sua presenza finch\u00e9, all\u2019improvviso, non senti il twang della chitarra. Allora ti volti e li vedi tutti e due l\u00ec, avvinghiati in una morsa d\u2019acciaio che compiono acrobazie degne dei pi\u00f9 grandi atleti di lotta greco-romana. Il loro posto preferito \u00e8 in sala sotto al tavolino di rattane, accanto alla chitarra di Geoff, che ormai non viene pi\u00f9 suonata se non quando uno dei due lottatori ci cade contro mentre compie una capriola.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Diabolical Duo are really silent, you\u2019re absolutely unaware of their presence until, suddenly, you hear the twang of the guitar. Then you turn round and see both of them there, locked together in a steel grip, performing acrobatics worthy of the greatest athletes of Greco-Roman wrestling. Their favourite place is in the living room beneath the rattan table next to Geoff\u2019s guitar, which no longer gets played apart from when one of the two fighters falls against it whilst carrying out a somersault.<\/p>\n

Il Duo Diabolico \u00e8 composto dalla nostra piccola Ambra e la sua anima gemella, Mister Black. Mister Black non miagola quasi mai, senti la sua vocina solo quando chiama la sua compagna di giochi. Si nasconde dietro ad una porta o ad un mobile, e poi odi un debole \u2018prrrr\u2019 seguito da un musicale piccolo \u2018miao\u2019, e l\u00ec aspetta in agguato che Ambra arrivi, per saltarle addosso e cominciare il gioco. Ogni tanto interrompono la lotta per mangiare due croccantini e bere un sorso d\u2019acqua e poi rincominciano. The Diabolical Duo is composed of our little Amber and her soul mate, Mister Black. Mister Black hardly ever mews, you only hear his little voice when he calls his play mate. He hides behind a door or a piece of furniture, and then you hear a quiet \u2018prrrr\u2019 followed by a musical \u2018miao\u2019, and there he waits in ambush for Amber to arrive, to leap upon her and begin the game. Every once in a while they interrupt their game to eat a couple of cat biscuits and have a sip of water, then they begin again. When they\u2019re completely exhausted they fall asleep on the straw mat or on our bed in spectacular positions.<\/p>\n

Il Duo Diabolico si \u00e8 formato mentre eravamo in Inghilterra lo scorso maggio. Quando siamo tornati dal viaggio abbiamo scoperto che alla nostra famigliola felina si era aggregato un giovane gatto dell\u2019et\u00e0 di Ambra. Mister Black \u00e8 un bellissimo gattino dagli occhi verdi e dal pelo medio-lungo tutto nero eccetto un piccolo triangolo bianco fra le zampe posteriori che sembra un paio di mutande. Anche le vibrisse sono nere eccetto una, che \u00e8 bianca, per cui pare che abbia un solo baffo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Diabolical Duo was formed last May whilst we were in England. When we got back from our journey we discovered that a young male cat the same age as Amber had joined our little feline family. Mister Black is a beautiful little cat with green eyes and completely black medium length fur, except for a little white triangle between his rear legs which resembles a pair of underpants. Even his whiskers are black, except one which is white, making him look like he only has one \u2018moustache\u2019.<\/p>\n
