It\u2019s not often that you hear songs about snails, so this one really stands out in my memory as one of those nostalgic childhood songs.<\/p>\n

However, \u304b\u305f\u3064\u3080<\/strong>\u308a<\/strong> (katatsumuri) is a more common way to say \u201csnail.\u201dIn the line that says\u89d2\u3060\u305b\u69cd\u3060<\/strong>\u305b<\/strong>\u00a0 (tsuno dase yari dase)\u201dpull out your antennae, pull out your spear\u201d the \u201cspear\u201d refers to the eyestalk, which are long projections attached to the snail\u2019s head.
