This is because the egg (child) and chicken (parent) are both combined in one dish. Although the chicken is cooked all the way, the eggs are prepared slightly raw. In place of the pickled ginger, a raw egg is somtimes placed on top. Miso soup is a dashi paste soup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u30ab\u30c4\u30c9\u30f3<\/strong> is a pork fried rice dish. First the pork has been deep fried, then cut into several long pieces. Depending on the region, different ingredients are used in <strong>\u30ab\u30c4\u30c9\u30f3<\/strong>. In the city of Okayama (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u5ca1\u5c71<\/strong><\/span>), rich brown demi glace sauce, green peas and salt are used. In Nagoya (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u540d\u53e4\u5c4b<\/strong><\/span>) miso paste is used. In the city of Niigata (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u65b0\u6f5f<\/strong><\/span>), soy sauce is used.
