As for me, I have been offline for the last \u4e00\u30f5\u6708\u534a (\u3044\u3063\u304b\u3052\u3064\u306f\u3093\/month and a half) as my wife and I \u5f15\u3063\u8d8a\u3057\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f (\u3072\u3063\u3053\u3057\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f \/ moved) into a new \u5bb6 (\u3044\u3048\/ house). Once we finished moving, we discovered that the \u30d1\u30bd\u30b3\u30f3 (computer) \u30c7\u30a3\u30b9\u30d7\u30ec\u30a4 (display) didn’t survive the move. I wasn’t able to use it to blog until recently, when I plugged it into my \u30c6\u30ec\u30d3 (television) and started using that as my \u30c7\u30a3\u30b9\u30d7\u30ec\u30a4.<\/p>\n
Our new \u5bb6 is in the same neighborhood in \u9e7f\u5150\u5cf6 (\u304b\u3054\u3057\u307e\/Kagoshima city) as the last one, but now we live with my wife’s \u304a\u6bcd\u3055\u3093(\u304a\u304b\u3042\u3055\u3093\/mother) and \u304a\u7236\u3055\u3093 (\u304a\u3068\u3046\u3055\u3093\/father). This is somewhat common in \u65e5\u672c (\u306b\u307b\u3093\/Japan), with costs being so high for many things. Living together means everyone saves \u304a\u91d1 (\u304a\u304b\u306d\/money) and helps out. Early on, grandparents can help out with their grandchildren, and later on, they will be taken care of when they are unable to take care of themselves.<\/p>\n
Having two families (two couples) living in one slightly small \u5bb6 means things are crowded and there isn’t much space for our stuff. For example, we went from two \u30c6\u30ec\u30d3 in each \u5bb6, to four \u30c6\u30ec\u30d3 in one! Also, we now have three \u8eca (\u304f\u308b\u307e\/car[s]) between us, meaning we have to buy a parking space at a nearby apartment building! Thankfully though, the neighborhood is \u9759\u304b (\u3057\u305a\u304b\/quiet), the view is good and my parents-in-law are nice. I think we’ll be happy here.<\/p>\n
Note: \u30d1\u30bd\u30b3\u30f3 and \u30c6\u30ec\u30d3 are originally English words, but the Japanese shortened them and converted them to katakana: “personal computer” to \u30d1\u30bd\u30b3\u30f3\/pasokon, and “television” to \u30c6\u30ec\u30d3\/terebi.
