You don’t always have to use the \u3066 <\/strong>form with \u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044<\/strong> :<\/p>\n

\u660e\u65e5\u96fb\u8a71\u3092\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044<\/strong> = please call tomorrow (literally “please phone tomorrow”)<\/p>\n

(\u3042\u3057\u305f<\/strong>\/\u660e\u65e5<\/strong> = tomorrow. \u3067\u3093\u308f\u3092\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044<\/strong>\/\u96fb\u8a71\u3092\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044<\/strong> = please call)<\/p>\n

The reason the \u3066<\/strong> form is not used is because \u3067\u3093\u308f<\/strong> is a noun not a verb.<\/p>\n

To make negative requests, use \u306a\u3044\u3067\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044<\/strong> :\u3000<\/p>\n

\u307e\u3060\u30b1\u30fc\u30ad\u3092\u98df\u3079\u306a\u3044\u3067\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044<\/strong> = Please don’t eat the cake yet<\/p>\n

(\u307e\u3060<\/strong> = yet. \u30b1\u30fc\u30ad<\/strong> = cake. \u3092<\/strong> = direct object. \u305f\u3079\u3066\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044<\/strong>\/\u98df\u3079\u306a\u3044\u3067\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044<\/strong> = please don’t eat)<\/p>\n
