There are many ways of learning a foreign language. How about singing a song in the language of your study? It might be easier to study Japanese this way than learning from the book. I would like to share a story of\u00a0Nicholas Edwards<\/strong><\/em> who has now become such a famous pop singer in Japan.<\/p>\n

Nicholas is originally from Portland, Oregon. He studied Japanese while he was in high school. \u00a0Learning lyrics of Japanese songs and actually singing them was one of the ways that he used to learn Japanese.<\/p>\n

He is now a pop singer in Japan. Below are some of the highlights from his blog site<\/a> regarding how he learned Japanese by singing songs.<\/p>\n

(Back then when I was a high school student, my hobby was to listen to Japanese songs over and over with the lyrics on my hand. I wrote down the words I didn’t know and kept on listening to songs by memorizing the words. By the time I knew it, it was often 3 in the morning. I was so into the world of learning Japanese.)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
