This ruin is unfortunately, just the site where the castle used to be, and you can now only see the surroundings; however, it is so unique in that you can almost imagine how it was like when the castle was actually there by looking at the whole area. When you first approach to the entrance of, “Kanojo(加納城、かのうじょう)”, means, Kano castle, (Kano is the name of the town; therefore the castle was named after its town.) you will notice the walls of stones surrounding the whole area. This is true inside and outside. The whole place is surrounded by the stone wall like the one below. <img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-3806" alt="IMG_4453 (1)" width="499" height="374" / src="https://blogs.transparent.com/japanese/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2014/07/IMG_4453-1-1024x768.jpg" srcset="https://blogs.transparent.com/japanese/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2014/07/IMG_4453-1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://blogs.transparent.com/japanese/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2014/07/IMG_4453-1-350x263.jpg 350w, https://blogs.transparent.com/japanese/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2014/07/IMG_4453-1-768x576.jpg 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px" /> <img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-3809" alt="IMG_4457 (1)" width="499" height="375" / src="https://blogs.transparent.com/japanese/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2014/07/IMG_4457-11-1024x768.jpg" srcset="https://blogs.transparent.com/japanese/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2014/07/IMG_4457-11-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://blogs.transparent.com/japanese/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2014/07/IMG_4457-11-350x263.jpg 350w, https://blogs.transparent.com/japanese/wp-content/uploads/sites/7/2014/07/IMG_4457-11-768x576.jpg 768w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 499px) 100vw, 499px" /> Inside the ruin is now a peaceful walk area.
