I have been traveling within the states, visiting family and friends, and just got back to Northwest and now ready to start working on more articles. Next week, I will be in Japan, so will be writing more about what&#8217;s happening in Japan, hope I can let you know about Japan&#8217;s current trends, interesting facts, and of course, more cultural events etc.. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As for today&#8217;s article, why don&#8217;t I introduce you to some summer related Japanese vocabulary?\u00a0I have written an\u00a0article about <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/japanese\/summer-is-here-japanese-summer-related-words\/\">summer related words <\/a>last month, if anyone wants to reference the article, that will be great too.<\/p>\n<p>These are the must know vocabulary in Japanese! Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Beach &#8211; Umi (\u3046\u307f\u3001\u3000\u6d77)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Shaved Ice &#8211; Kakigo-ri ()<\/p>\n<p>~ These are my favorite!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Summer festival &#8211; Natsu Matsuri (\u306a\u3064\u307e\u3064\u308a\u3001\u590f\u796d\u308a) or Omatsuri (\u304a\u307e\u3064\u308a\u3001\u3000\u304a\u796d\u308a)<\/p>\n<p>~ can&#8217;t go through summer without going to one of these at least once!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fireworks &#8211; Hanabi (\u306f\u306a\u3073\u3001\u3000\u82b1\u706b)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cicada &#8211; Semi (\u305b\u307f\u3000\u8749)<\/p>\n<p>~ Do you have cicadas around you? They could get very noisy at times!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Watermelon &#8211; Suika (\u3059\u3044\u304b\u3000\u897f\u74dc)<\/p>\n<p>~ so refreshing!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sunflower &#8211; Himawari (\u3072\u307e\u308f\u308a)<\/p>\n<p>~ Sunflowers just make you happy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Swimming &#8211; Suiei (\u3059\u3044\u3048\u3044\u3001\u6c34\u6cf3)<\/p>\n<p>~ One of the most popular activities to do during summer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thunderheads &#8211; Nyu-do-gumo (\u306b\u3085\u3046\u3069\u3046\u3050\u3082\u3001\u5165\u9053\u96f2)<\/p>\n<p>~ These clouds are symbol of summer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sandals &#8211; Sandaru (\u30b5\u30f3\u30c0\u30eb)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Wind-Bell &#8211; Fu-rin (\u3075\u3046\u308a\u3093\u3001\u98a8\u9234)<\/p>\n<p>~ The sound of wind-bells are so soothing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Japanese Buck Wheat\u00a0Noodle &#8211; So-men (\u305d\u3046\u3081\u3093\u3000\u305d\u3046\u9eba)<\/p>\n<p>~ So healthy, try it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Were you already familiar with these vocabulary?
