My boys are sort of growing out of dressing up in a costume and going for trick or treating these days, but they still can&#8217;t seem to resist getting so many of the\u00a0yummy candies. \u00a0Plus, trick a treating\u00a0from door to door with their friends is always fun for them. Today&#8217;s post is all about Halloween. That is Halloween related Japanese vocabulary that you might want to know.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Halloween &#8211; \u30cf\u30ed\u30a6\u30a3\u30f3<\/strong>\u3000- pronunciation is just about the same as in English. We spell this out in Katakana.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Watashiwa Halloween ga totemo machidoo shiidesu. (\u79c1\u306f\u3001\u30cf\u30ed\u30a6\u30a3\u30f3\u304c\u3000\u3068\u3066\u3082\u3000\u5f85\u3061\u9060\u3057\u3044\u3000\u3067\u3059\u3002I am so looking forward to Halloween. )<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Costume &#8211; \u8863\u88c5\uff08\u3044\u3057\u3087\u3046\u3001Ishou) or \u00a0\u30b3\u30b9\u30c1\u30e5\u30fc\u30e0 (costume)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Halloween no ishou o kite trick or treating ni ikimasu.
