Every year in February millions of people all over Japan head to Sapporo (\u672d\u5e4c<\/strong><\/span>) for the annual Sapporo Yuki Matsuri (\u3055\u3063\u307d\u308d\u96ea\u307e\u3064\u308a<\/strong>).\u00a0 The Sapporo Yuki Matsuri (\u3055\u3063\u307d\u308d\u96ea\u307e\u3064\u308a<\/strong>) can be worded as the ‘Sapporo Snow Festival.’\u00a0 Just where is Sapporo (\u672d\u5e4c<\/strong><\/span>)?\u00a0 It’s located in the Hokkaidoo (\u5317\u6d77\u9053<\/strong><\/span><\/span>) prefecture and the one of the biggest cities in Japan.\u00a0 Sapporo (\u672d\u5e4c<\/strong><\/span>) is located in northern Japan and receives a plentiful supply of snow every year.\u00a0 It’s really the perfect place to have a snow festival!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Due to\u00a0the cold weather\u00a0and the ready supply of snow, the ice sculptures in Sapporo (\u672d\u5e4c<\/strong><\/span>) are perfectly preserved.\u00a0 Every year, professional ice sculpting teams gather together in Sapporo (\u672d\u5e4c<\/strong><\/span>) to compete against other teams.\u00a0\u00a0The best place to view the\u00a0ice sculptures is in\u00a0Odori Park (\u5927\u901a\u516c\u5712<\/strong>).\u00a0 At night, the ice sculptures are illuminated with beautiful lights.\u00a0 It’s a great getaway place for couples.\u00a0 Of course, Sapporo (\u672d\u5e4c<\/strong><\/span>) is family friendly as well.\u00a0 There’s so much to do in Sapporo (\u672d\u5e4c<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 For example, they always have some delicious warm broths in the food stalls at Odori Park (\u5927\u901a\u516c\u5712<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

There’s also the Sapporo\u00a0Terebitoo (\u3055\u3063\u307d\u308d\u30c6\u30ec\u30d3\u5854<\/strong><\/span>) or the Sapporo Tv Tower.\u00a0 You can see every building in Sapporo (\u672d\u5e4c<\/strong><\/span>) from this tower and yell “I’m the king of the world!” without having to compete with the sound of cars rushing by (yes it’s that high up).\u00a0<\/p>\n
