{"id":61,"date":"2009-03-23T03:45:59","date_gmt":"2009-03-23T07:45:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/japanese\/?p=61"},"modified":"2018-07-27T17:55:53","modified_gmt":"2018-07-27T17:55:53","slug":"japanese-holiday-hina-matsuri-2-%e9%9b%9b%e7%a5%ad%e3%82%8a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/japanese\/japanese-holiday-hina-matsuri-2-%e9%9b%9b%e7%a5%ad%e3%82%8a\/","title":{"rendered":"Japanese Holiday: Hina Matsuri 2 (\u96db\u796d\u308a)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alright, so here are the remainder of the dolls:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"float: left\" src=\"http:\/\/keiko-r103.blog.ocn.ne.jp\/ki\/images\/2008\/07\/30\/img_2708.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/>The third platform contains five figures of musicians called go nin bayashi (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u4e94\u4eba\u56c3\u5b50<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 There are three drum players, one of\u00a0them holds a drum called taiko (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u592a\u9f13<\/strong><\/span>) and is seated.\u00a0 The other two drums players are both standing.\u00a0 There is also a flute player with a fue (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u7b1b<\/strong><\/span>) or flute and a singer or utaika (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u8b21\u3044\u65b9<\/strong><\/span>) carrying a fan called sensu (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u6247\u5b50<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>The fourth platform contains two government officials.\u00a0 The minister of the right is called the udaijin (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u53f3\u5927\u81e3<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 The minister of the left is called the sadaijin (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u5de6\u5927\u81e3<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 The ministers are separated by tables called ozen (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u304a\u81b3<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>The fifth platform is the funniest platform.\u00a0 (At least to me it is.)\u00a0 There are three samurai (<strong>\u3055\u3080\u3089\u3044<\/strong>) of various temperments in drinking.\u00a0 For example the sad samurai drinker is called nakijougo (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u6ce3\u304d\u4e0a\u6238<\/strong><\/span>) and the grouchy drinker is called okorijougo (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u6012\u308a\u4e0a\u6238<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 Lastly the cheerful drinker is called the waraijougo (<span class=\"t_nihongo_kanji\"><strong>\u7b11\u3044\u4e0a\u6238<\/strong><\/span>).\u00a0 I wonder how appropriate this is for a present to a child, but I think most kids don&#8217;t pay attention beyond the second platform, so it may not matter in the end.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"float: left\" src=\"http:\/\/seisonkaku.com\/shozouhin\/data\/images\/1193991320R.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/>The sixth platform contains various chests or storage boxes.
