first, which is <strong>\u305b\u3093<\/strong>.\u00a0 Then you&#8217;d take care of the 300, which is <strong>\u3055\u3093\u3073\u3083\u304f<\/strong>.\u00a0 Altogether 1,300 = <strong>\u305b\u3093\u3055\u3093\u3073\u3083\u304f<\/strong>.\u00a0 With a number like 35,000 you&#8217;d need to count the number of places.\u00a0 The last place holder starting from the right is the number 3 in the ten thousands place.\u00a0 So in Japanese this would be <strong>\u3055\u3093\u307e\u3093<\/strong>.\u00a0 Then count the place holder that contains 5.\u00a0 It&#8217;s the thousands place.\u00a0 So this would be <strong>\u3054\u305b\u3093<\/strong>.\u00a0 Altogether 35,000 = <strong>\u3055\u3093\u307e\u3093\u3054\u305b\u3093<\/strong>.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s look at a number like 234,567.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s use ten thousand as the marker for dividing up the units.\u00a0 If you count from the right you&#8217;ll see that 23 occupies the ten thousand marker\u00a0which would be <strong>\u306b\u3058\u3085\u3046\u3055\u3093\u307e\u3093<\/strong> or 23,000.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll give you the number altogether.\u00a0 See if you can figure out it on your own.\u00a0 234,567 =<strong>
