Take for example the Bongeunsa (<strong>\ubd09\uc740\uc0ac<\/strong>), which is a Buddhist temple that contains a large Buddha statue with a square tile over its head.<\/p>\n<p>The Naksansa Temple (<strong>\ub099\uc0b0\uc0ac<\/strong>) is famous for its representation of a female Buddha Goddess named Haesugwaneumsang (<strong>\ud574\uc218\uad00\uc74c\uc785\uc0c1<\/strong>). It\u2019s one of those monuments that would be great for postcards, don&#8217;t you think?<\/p>\n<p>A lot of people may not realize this, but there are lots of huge statues that are famous tourist spots like Beopjusa (<strong>\ubc95\uc8fc\uc0ac<\/strong>). Beopjusa is famous for its large golden statue of the Buddha.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, you don\u2019t have to a Buddhist to appreciate the grand size of these gigantic statues. These statues are awe inspiring to look at, especially the Buddha at the Donghwasa (<strong>\ub3d9\ud654\uc0ac<\/strong>). The Donghwasa is a Korean temple known for its long ear-lobed Buddha.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget Beomeosa (<strong>\ubc94\uc5b4\uc0ac<\/strong>), which is known for its large golden seated Buddha. There are also several minor sized statues that are placed before the greatest sized statue of the Buddha. Kinda neat, don\u2019t you think?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Okay this is the last one, I promise. This one is from Shinheungsa (<strong>\uc2e0\ud64d\uc0ac<\/strong>), which is a temple known for its Tongil Daebu (<strong>\ud1b5\uc77c\ub300\ubd84<\/strong>), which can be translated as &#8220;Great Unification Buddha&#8221;.
