After graduating from high school, he started participating actively in professional Korean wrestling matches. Early in his wrestling career, he lost many matches. However, on July, 1989, at the 44th national championships, the unseeded Kang managed to defeat the legendary man (who was champion 10 times) and went on to win the tournament, which marked the start of his successful career. Known as &#8216;Devil on the sand&#8217; for his arrogant and fearless demeanor, he went on to win the Baekdujangsa Championship 7 times and the\u00a0CheonHaJangSa Championship 5 times, he was very widely recognized as the youngest ever Cheonhajangsa title holder and as a strong man.<\/p>\n<p>The video below is \u2018One Night, Two Days\u2019 with English subtitle.\u00a0 Some other countries made the same TV show with their own stars.
