The second sentence has the first clause in the past tense, so it&#8217;s going to be &#8220;didn&#8217;t have&#8221; as opposed to the first sentence, which means &#8220;don&#8217;t have&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\uc11c\uc6b8\uae4c\uc9c0 \uc6b4\uc804\ud558\uae30 \uc2eb\uc5b4\uc694. \uc65c\ub0d0\ud558\uba74 \uad50\ud1b5\uc774 \ud56d\uc0c1 \uc2ec\ud574\uc694<\/strong> = I don&#8217;t like to drive to Seoul. Because the traffic is always heavy.<\/p>\n<p>(<strong>\uc11c\uc6b8 <\/strong>= Seoul. <strong>\uae4c\uc9c0<\/strong> = to. <strong>\uc6b4\uc804\ud558\uae30 \uc2eb\uc5b4\uc694<\/strong> = don&#8217;t like to drive. <strong>\uc65c\ub0d0\ud558\uba74 <\/strong>= because. <strong>\uad50\ud1b5 <\/strong>= traffic.<strong> \uc774<\/strong> = particle. <strong>\ud56d\uc0c1 <\/strong>= always. <strong>\uc2ec\ud574\uc694<\/strong> = heavy\/severe)<\/p>\n<p>In the sentence above, the reason or the &#8220;because&#8221; is the secondary clause.<\/p>\n<p>Now let&#8217;s compare this with :<\/p>\n<p><strong>\uc11c\uc6b8\uae4c\uc9c0 \uc6b4\uc804\ud558\uae30 \uc2eb\uc5b4. \uc65c\ub0d0\uba74 \uad50\ud1b5\uc774 \ud56d\uc0c1 \uc2ec\ud574<\/strong> = I don&#8217;t like to drive to Seoul. In the first sentence, <strong>\uc65c\ub0d0\ud558\uba74<\/strong> was used.
