It is probably Kimchi made with Napa cabbage and red pepper powder. Kimchi is a traditional ethnic cuisine of Korea, and you will be surprised to know how many different kinds of Kimchi are available for you to try.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #808000\">\uae40\uce58<\/span>\u00a0<\/em>(Kimchi) is a staple of Korean side dishes that goes with almost every Korean meal. Korean people have consumed <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uae40\uce58\u00a0<\/em><\/span>over a thousand years, and during the winter months they used to store <em><span style=\"color: #808000\">\uae40\uce58<\/span>\u00a0<\/em>in clay pots and bury the pots in the ground. This method slowed down the fermentation process of\u00a0<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uae40\uce58<\/em><\/span>, so people could enjoy their <em><span style=\"color: #808000\">\uae40\uce58<\/span>\u00a0<\/em>throughout the winter months. Nowadays, most Koreans use a special refrigerator made just for\u00a0<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uae40\uce58<\/em><\/span>. Depending on the main ingredients, regions, and seasons, <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uae40\uce58<\/em><\/span>\u00a0 has many different names and unique flavors. Not only the red and spicy kind that you are familiar with, but there is also a non-spicy Napa cabbage Kimchi called\u00a0<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ubc31\uae40\uce58<\/em><\/span>. <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ubc31<\/em><\/span> literally means white in Korean. I like <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ubc31\uae40\uce58<\/em><\/span>\u00a0 because its flavor is mild and gentle on my stomach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ud30c\uae40\uce58\u00a0<\/em><\/span> is made with thin green onions or scallions, fish oil, garlic, ginger, and hot pepper powder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uc5f4\ubb34\uae40\uce58\u00a0<\/em><\/span> is made with young radishes. It is popularly served as a side dish, and this \u00a0<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uae40\uce58\u00a0<\/em><\/span>is also a popular ingredient in a <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uad6d\uc218\u00a0<\/em><\/span>(noodle) dish and <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ube44\ube54\ubc25<\/em><\/span>. (<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ube44\ube54\ubc25\u00a0<\/em><\/span>is a Korean rice dish that is commonly mixed with vegetables, hot pepper paste, and a fried egg.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uc624\uc774\uc18c\ubc15\uc774<\/em><\/span> is made with cucumbers. It is stuffed with <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ubd80\ucd94\u00a0<\/em><\/span>(garlic chives), <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ub2f9\uadfc<\/em><\/span> (carrots,) and <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uc591\ub150\u00a0<\/em><\/span>(seasonings).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uae4d\ub450\uae30 <\/em><\/span>is made with diced radishes, and Korean people enjoy eating this\u00a0<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uae40\uce58<\/em><\/span>\u00a0 with soups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ub3d9\uce58\ubbf8\u00a0<\/em><\/span>is made in the late fall and is enjoyed in the winter months by many Koreans. Its main ingredient is white radishes and water.
