In this post, we will explore a list of \u00a0<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ucf69\uae00\ub9ac\uc2dc<\/em><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<em>words <\/em>that are used often by native Korean speakers.<\/p>\n<p>The Korean language consists of these three main components: pure Korean words, Sino-Korean words, and loanwords. Loanwords have\u00a0<em><span style=\"color: #808000\">\uc678\ub798\uc5b4<\/span>\u00a0<\/em> and\u00a0<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ucf69\uae00\ub9ac\uc2dc<\/em><\/span><em>. \u00a0<\/em><span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uc678\ub798\uc5b4<\/em>\u00a0<\/span> are Korean words that are derived from another language because there is no equivalent or substitute words for them in the Korean language. These are some examples of\u00a0<span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\uc678\ub798\uc5b4<\/em><\/span>: <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ubc14\ub098\ub098<\/em><\/span> (banana), <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ub9c8\ub124\ud0b9<\/em><\/span> (mannequin), and <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ub274\uc695<\/em><\/span> (New York). <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ucf69\uae00\ub9ac\uc2dc<\/em> <\/span>(Konglish) is a portmanteau of the words, Korean and English. <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ucf69\uae00\ub9ac\uc2dc<\/em><\/span>\u00a0 words are derived from the English language, but the meaning or pronunciation has been altered. Although these might sound awkward at first, <span style=\"color: #808000\"><em>\ucf69\uae00\ub9ac\uc2dc\u00a0<\/em><\/span> words are very useful to learn when you study Korean.
