Most of the sales clerks that I have ever encountered at shops were polite. Even government official clerks were well-mannered to their customers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I strongly believe using <strong>\uc874\ub313\ub9d0 <\/strong><\/span><b>(jon-dat-mahl<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> :the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">honorific<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) is one of the many reasons that most of my experiences in customer service were pleasant. Although I sometimes noticed that some of them were using incorrect \uc874\ub313\ub9d0.\u00a0 \uc874\ub313\ub9d0 should be used to show respect to a subject, particularly a person, within a sentence, but not a <\/span><b>\uc0ac\ubb3c (sah-mul<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: a thing).\u00a0 Let me give you a couple of examples of the correct \uc874\ub313\ub9d0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \ucee4\ud53c \ub098\uc654\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4. (kuh-pee-nah-wat-sum-ni-dah: coffee is here.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is correct form of \uc874\ub313\ub9d0. \ucee4\ud53c is a subject in this sentence, but it is not a person.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\ucee4\ud53c \ub098\uc624\uc168\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4.
