The number of 2022 personally brings me back to some of my memories of the sci-fi movies I may watch when I was younger. These movies typically start with a quote, such as \u2018In 2022, people in the world are moving to the Moon\u2026\u2019 and a story goes on. The sexagenary cycle is <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the Stems-and-Branches or Ganzhi. (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sexagenary_cycle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sexagenary_cycle<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Many people are excited to embrace 2022 because the combination of the color of black and the animal of the tiger rarely happens. One thing you want to remember is that there is no fixed date for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\uad6c\uc815<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> because it relies on the Lunar calendar. In other words, you would likely have <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\uad6c\uc815<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on a different date every year. There is the 20th <\/span><b>\ub300\ud1b5\ub839\uc120\uac70<\/b><b> (dae-tong-ryeong-sun-guh:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> a presidential election) in March. The date is on the 9th of March, and it is a <\/span><b>\ubc95\uc815<\/b> <b>\uacf5\ud734\uc77c<\/b><b> (bup-jeong-gong-hui-il: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a legal holiday or a national holiday). Luckily, Koreans will have two more additional holidays compared to 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>\ud55c\uae00\ub0a0<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(<\/span><b>Hangullal: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hangul Proclamation Day)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is on the 9th of October. It happens to be on Sunday this year. I hope this extra day would bring you time to study Korean in a more enjoyable way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In September, <\/span><b>\ucd94\uc11d<\/b><b> (<\/b><b>Chuseok: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Korean Thanksgiving Day) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">starts on the 9<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and runs<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> through the 11th. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\ucd94\uc11d<\/span> <b>\uc5f0\ud734<\/b><b> ( yeon-hwui<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: a long weekend or holiday) usually lasts 3 days and the last day of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\uc5f0\ud734<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> this year falls on Sunday.
