Yeongdong Country is known for its persimmons. If you want to know more about how useful and important persimmons are, go to this article : https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/korean\/kam-\uac10\/ Visitors will be able to sample all kinds of jams and other foods made from persimmons.<\/p>\n<p>Dongji\u00a0 (<strong>\ub3d9\uc9c0<\/strong>) is a winter solstice festival that is rarely celebrated in South Korea. In North Korea, it\u2019s a big deal. If you watch the video, there is a mass spectacle prepared for Dongji in North Korea. Dongji is the day when the sunshine is weakest and the day is shortest. The people believe that after Dongji, there will be days with longer hours of sunlight.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d4Diuz08MfI\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=d4Diuz08MfI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Guryongpo Specialty Festival will take place on the nineteenth of December in Pohang City (<strong>\ud3ec\ud56d\uc2dc<\/strong>). Pohang is a major seaport and is known for its gwamegi (<strong>\uacfc\uba54\uae30<\/strong>). Gwamegi is a type of fish called Pacific saury. The Guryongpo Specialty Festival will highlight various Korean dishes using gwamegi.
