When you think of the right word&#8230; immediately after using the wrong one.<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/language-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2014\/10\/welp.gif\" aria-label=\"Welp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2686\"  alt=\"welp\" width=\"225\" height=\"177\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/language-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2014\/10\/welp.gif\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>One day it will just come out naturally&#8230; right?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. When you try speaking in a foreign language and the other person immediately switches to English.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/language-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2014\/10\/2.gif\" aria-label=\"2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2636\"  alt=\"2\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/language-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2014\/10\/2.gif\"><\/a><em>I&#8217;ve put hundreds of hours in to this language. When you&#8217;re dying to chime in on a stranger&#8217;s conversation in a foreign language, but don\u2019t want to give away that you understand them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/language-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2014\/10\/5.gif\" aria-label=\"5\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2654\"  alt=\"5\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/ src=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/language-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2014\/10\/5.gif\"><\/a><em>Because eavesdropping in your second language is a thousand times more thrilling than eavesdropping in your native language.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. When you try to explain some really fascinating aspect of a language to your friends and they Just. Don\u2019t.
