They work really hard to learn English and do a really good job of it. I plan on continuing my studies indefinitely. I will be more proficient in Spanish eventually. It\u2019s also quite fun.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Karen from Amery Area Public Library in Wisconsin!<\/strong> At 76 years old, she likes to keep her brain active, so she spent <strong>8 hours<\/strong> learning German:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">&#8220;<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">I studied German for a couple of years in high school and for a while on Duolingo.\u00a0 I have so much respect for people who speak more than one language, and I\u2019d like to be one of them!&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Yomaira from Harris County Public Library in Texas!\u00a0<\/strong>She is working to improve her English listening, writing, and speaking skills. No email in the account = not eligible to win.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Learning time = time spent doing lessons, refreshing Learned Vocab, or doing Practice activities in Transparent Language Online on web or mobile.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The contest runs from 12:01am EST on March 1, 2025 to 11:59pm EDT on March 31, 2025. Only learning time completed during that time will count.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>We will select the winners based on learning time completed, but reserve the right not to select a specific user for any reason. Winners will be announced by April 30, 2025 and contacted by email.
