They are tons of dinosaurs and all of them have different names!<\/p>\n<p>However, most of the names are in Greek, but there are a few in Latin. \u00a0Dinosaur comes from the Greek\u00a0words \u03b4\u03b5\u03b9\u03bd\u03cc\u03c2 (<i>deinos<\/i>, meaning &#8220;terrible,&#8221; &#8220;potent,&#8221; or &#8220;fearfully great&#8221;) and \u03c3\u03b1\u1fe6\u03c1\u03bf\u03c2(<i>sauros<\/i>, meaning &#8220;lizard&#8221; or &#8220;reptile&#8221;).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3860\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter post-item__attachment\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/latin\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2015\/06\/800px-Tyrannosaurus_Rex_Holotype.jpg\" aria-label=\"800px Tyrannosaurus Rex Holotype 300x199\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3860\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3860\"  alt=\"T.
