Things are happening here at Transparent! The Norwegian blog has been moved from http:\/\/www.transparent.com\/norwegian<\/span> to http:\/\/blogs<\/span>.transparent.com\/norwegian<\/span>. You may also have noticed that it\u2019s got a brand new look. Well, at least it\u2019s on its way to getting one\u2026 Hopefully the designers will find some neat solutions so that the blog will be even better than it was before\u2026<\/p>\n

And yes, as you\u2019ve guessed, this isn\u2019t Kari writing\u2026 :’-(
\nFor personal reasons, she\u2019s had to step down and say ha det bra!<\/strong> to all her readers on this site.
\nThe good news is that the Norwegian blog is coming back to life!
\nLike a troll that has been sleeping too long, it is now ready to leave the cave and take a few steps in the sunlight\u2026<\/p>\n

Being the \u201dnew kid on the blog\u201d, I\u2019ll do my best to continue in Kari\u2019s trail. Of course I can\u2019t write in exactly the same way that she did, but nevertheless I hope you\u2019ll find my posts useful as well as entertaining\u2026 Expect at least three posts a month\u2026 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Some of you may know me from the Danish<\/a> blog. Wait \u2013 why is a Dane writing about Norwegian?
\nThat\u2019s a good question, and the short answer is that I am quite fluent in both languages. I\u2019ve studied Scandinavian languages and literature in both Norway and Denmark, and I\u2019ve got loads of childhood memories from Norway, where I spent many of my \u201dgrowing-up\u201d years. I\u2019ve still got family \u201dup there\u201d, so I visit Norway once or twice a year\u2026 (But yes, Danish is my first language, and when Denmark and Norway are footballing against each other, I cheer on Denmark\u2026 So I\u2019d better keep away from sports on the Norwegian blog!)<\/p>\n
