At the library.\u00a0 At some point in your life, you probably spent a significant amount of time p\u00e5 biblioteket<\/strong>.\u00a0 Maybe p\u00e5 grunnskole<\/strong> (grade school), videreg\u00e5endeskole<\/strong> (high school), universitetet (<\/strong>college), p\u00e5 jobb<\/strong> (at work), eller i fritida<\/strong> (or in freetime).\u00a0 I always thought it was fun \u00e5 dra til biblioteket<\/strong> (to go to the library) when I was younger.\u00a0 There were always veldig snille damer<\/strong> (very nice ladies) that worked there.\u00a0 Doesn’t it seem like 99% of bibliotekarer<\/strong> (librarians) are women?\u00a0 I’ve always wondered why that is, especially since women seem to be more chatty and louder p\u00e5 arbeidsplass<\/strong> (in the workplace) than men, and of course, it is important to be stille<\/strong> (quiet) p\u00e5 biblioteket<\/strong>.\u00a0 Besides the snille damer<\/strong>, I liked sitting in the barnerom<\/strong> (kid’s room) p\u00e5 bibiloteket<\/strong>.\u00a0 There were lots of stuffed dyr<\/strong> (animals) and lyse farger<\/strong> (bright colors) overalt<\/strong> (everywhere\\all over).\u00a0 Sometimes en bibliotekar<\/strong> would lese historier til barna<\/strong>\u00a0(read stories to the kids).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Besides barneb\u00f8ker (children’s books), there\u00a0is mye annet som finnes p\u00e5 biblioteket<\/strong> (much more that\u00a0is found\u00a0at the library).\u00a0 Two major categories of reading material are skj\u00f8nnlitteratur<\/strong> and faglitteratur\\fagbok<\/strong> (non-fiction).\u00a0 I have\u00a0preferred faglitteratur<\/strong> since I was quite young.\u00a0 Hva med deg<\/strong> (How about you)?\u00a0<\/p>\n

P\u00e5 biblioteket<\/strong> there are also aviser<\/strong> (newspapers), magasiner<\/strong> (magazines), filmer<\/strong> (movies), h\u00f8rbar b\u00f8ker\\ b\u00f8ker p\u00e5 kassettb\u00e5nd<\/strong>\u00a0(audible books\\books on tape), musikk<\/strong> (music), datamaskiner<\/strong> (computers), o.s.v.\u00a0<\/strong> Even if biblioteket<\/strong> is not your favorite place to be, it’s pretty difficult to get bored with all of the information available to you.\u00a0 I think when I’m older, I’ll probably spend a lot of time p\u00e5<\/strong> biblioteket<\/strong> and I hope I have my own mini-bibliotek hjemme<\/strong> (at home).<\/p>\n
