drosje i Norge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>a taxi in Norway.\u00a0 I have taken <strong>en drosje<\/strong> several times in Norway and I can only say good things.\u00a0 Every <strong>drosje<\/strong> I rode in was clean and comfortable, and driven by very friendly immigrants.\u00a0 Not that every <strong>drosjesj\u00e5f\u00f8r<\/strong> (taxi driver) in Norway is an immigrant, but certainly the majority are.\u00a0 I enjoyed talking with them and asking them about their <strong>historier<\/strong> (stories) about how they came to Norway and where they came from.\u00a0 Again, I will say that although <strong>det er veldig dyrt<\/strong> (it is very expensive) <strong>\u00e5 ta en drosje<\/strong> (to take a taxi) in Norway, I had great experiences with <strong>drosjer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Either I was lucky with the <strong>drosjer<\/strong> I took or the <strong>drosje<\/strong> environment has changed since I lived in Norway 4 years ago.\u00a0 I say this because of an article in Aftenposten online today:\u00a0 <strong>Oslo f\u00e5r taxipoliti<\/strong> (Oslo gets taxi police).\u00a0 My first thought was, <strong>hva<\/strong> (what)??\u00a0 <strong>Ja<\/strong>, there is going to be an organization that monitors <strong>drosjer og drosjesj\u00e5f\u00f8rer.\u00a0 Hvorfor<\/strong> (why), you might ask?\u00a0 Based on the new <strong>regler<\/strong> (rules) that are about to be enforced, <strong>passasjerer<\/strong> (passengers) have had complaints in several different areas.\u00a0 The following is the list of expectations for <strong>drosjer <\/strong>(taken directly from the Aftenposten website)<strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* <strong>Sj\u00e5f\u00f8rkurs som avsluttes med skriftlig eksamen i regi av kommunen<\/strong>.\u00a0 Chauffeur course that concludes with a written exam produced by the municipality.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>Forbud mot \u00e5 snakke i mobilen n\u00e5r man har passasjer i bilen<\/strong>.\u00a0 It is forbidden to talk on\u00a0the phone\u00a0when one has a passenger in the car.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>R\u00f8ykfri og ren bil.<\/strong>\u00a0 Smoke free and clean car.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>Prisinformasjon p\u00e5 holde- plassene, og i taxien<\/strong>.\u00a0 Price information at the stop and in the taxi.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>Klagebehandling innen 14 dager<\/strong>.\u00a0 Complaints handled within 14 days.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>Kunden skal f\u00e5 beskjed hvis bilen er forsinket<\/strong>.\u00a0 The customer will receive a message if the car is late\\behind schedule.<\/p>\n<p>* <strong>Sj\u00e5f\u00f8ren skal ha godkjent uniform<\/strong>.\u00a0 The chauffeur should have an approved\u00a0uniform.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The idea is <strong>\u00e5 kontrollere drosjene<\/strong> (to control the taxis) so that they all provide basically the same <strong>tjeneste<\/strong> (service) for roughly <strong>samme prisen<\/strong> (the same price).\u00a0 <strong>M\u00e5let er forn\u00f8yde passasjerer<\/strong> (The goal is satisfied passengers).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you have ever been<strong> i en drosje i<\/strong> New York, <strong>for
