Even in very small <b>bygder<\/b> (Norwegian-style villages), there often is a place where you can buy <b><i>kaffi med noko att\u00e5t<\/i><\/b>. Yes, that is usually written in <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.transparent.com\/norwegian\/a-taste-of-nynorsk\/\">Nynorsk<\/a>. In everyday-ish Bokm\u00e5l Norwegian (which this blog is trying to teach), you\u2019d probably get \u201d<b>kaffe med noe i tillegg\u201d<\/b> \u2013 coffee with something extra. The \u201dextra\u201d might be a <b>kake<\/b> (cake) or a <b>lefse<\/b>. Norwegians generally love <b>s\u00f8tsaker<\/b> (\u201dsweet stuff\u201d)! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A Norwegian caf\u00e9 <b>meny<\/b> [men<i>EE<\/i>] is often easy to read for an English-speaker, as many words are international and (almost) the same in both languages.
